Tele pickups
« on: March 06, 2011, 04:22:29 PM »
LOL I MADE A NEW FORUM  :bounce:
(since most of us still are musicians (?), it seems warranted)

ANYWAY. My cousin's boyfriend has a tele body lying around, without strings, pickups, bridge, etc.
I might buy it from him. Now apart from the pickups, there's no real difficult decisions to be made. But for the pickups I'm not really sure what to get...I'm no expert on them anyway.

So what would you recommend getting? I know it's a matter of taste, but some pointers would be welcome. We're talking about a neck pickup and a bridge pickup, single coil.

The Bare Knuckles ones sound pretty sweet. Luci: I can get Seymour Duncan ones, but they're 170 euros together. I'm basically hoping to pay less than that.

Well the neck pickup definitely sounds nice...for the bridge one I'd maybe like something more special though...
