Ever see the DigitalRev video where they freeze the 7D in a block of ice, then light it on fire, and it still works?

Haha yeah! The build is insanly good. I got mine wet and hit so many times and no problems.
Lenses on the other hand... have to sell before fungus comes into play haha.

There's a humungous fungus among us!

Also, apparently a lot of the initial test shots that went out from the 7DII in the first few days had the in-camera noise reduction on. Phew.

I've looked at the specifications od mk2 and to be honest, it's not much better than mk1.

Not hugely. The autofocus system is apparently nicer than it looks on paper (and it looks pretty great). Relative to sensor size, the noise performance is almost up to the quality of the D810, which for Canon is a quantum leap.

I think if anything, it bodes well for the 5D Mk IV... at least that it'll approach Nikon and Sony image quality.

Those are great. What lens are you using on the wide shots?

Thanks.
For wide shots I use my Sigma 10-20mm zoom.
