Anyway, the bid on the Soligor 24mm lens was accepted and I should receive it this week.  :ozz:

Hopefully I'll receive my camera this week, too. :D

Unless your camera purchases are CURSED!

I've got my Yashica 635 off e-bay and it worked. Well, except that the mirror got dislodged in the mail but I've mended it. 8)

Oh Tomaz (or anyone else who's knowledgeable on the subject): Is this tutorial complete and useful for B/W developing?
http://www.ilfordphoto.com/Webfiles/200629163442455.pdf

(of course without the mandatory use of Ilford products :P)

Yeah, it's useful. Except in step 12, buying stop bath solution is pretty pointless as you can use tap water instead. Just pour it in the tank a couple of times and you can proceed to fixing.
Here is a site with pretty much every possible B&W film/developer combination and their processing times. http://www.digitaltruth.com/devchart.php It's like a Holy Bible for developing films. :D

I call this "random train station in Budapest"

I think I've been at that station. It's the fanciest one, right? Fairly close to the main sites?

Anyway, the bid on the Soligor 24mm lens was accepted and I should receive it this week.  :ozz:
you are correct sir.  No idea what the station name is but it is the main  station

So I have a chance to get a Canon 24-105 f/4L for $500 CAD...

I pretty much have to, right?

a land that bears no green
where there\'s ice and snow
and the whale fishies blooow

So I got it.

It's really nice.

Semi related: I recently got tired of the 1100D and sold it, got a 700D. Not a huge upgrade, but feels significant.

It's really shocking how sharp the images with the 24-105mm f4L and the 17-55 F2.8 are compared the T3 and the kit lens.

Fun!

Well quality glass makes all the difference.

Even though it's still Canon...  :apio:

I'd love to own a weather-sealed lens but they're all so fucking expensive! :/

Haha the weather sealed lens goes great with my non-weather sealed body!

Haha! I figure if my body falls to that fate it's just an excuse to go upgrade/be financially irresponsible.  :mmm:
